Self-taught illustrator and designer, restless creator and a Zimtstern fan
I am a Russian self-taught artist, now I live and create in Germany, in the city of Bonn.
Since I was a kid I always loved to paint, write, hand-make decorations and cards. Every school and university copybook of mine had those special pages in the end with random hand-lettered words and tiny sketches.
I still keep some of them for memory - and, oh my goodness, it´s almost like exploring some motives of the good old times through the cave paintings!
Nowadays my sketches go far beyond staying in my copybooks. I get inspired for my works by everything what surrounds me - by nature and cities, by people, by travelling and by being at home.
I wish to create cozy, special and joyful things of the same mood as Zimtstern cookies. Whether it´s an illustration, a handlettered sign or a decoration for the christmas tree. Or something else I didn´t come up with the idea of. Yet.
